Technical Customer Service Representative
Alliance Laundry Systems, headquartered in Ripon, WI is the largest manufacturer of commercial laundry equipment. We have an excellent opportunity for a Technical Customer Service Representative.
The Technical Customer Service Representative will function as a member of the customer service staff reporting to one of the two established team leaders.
Position Overview
The Technical Customer Service Representative will provide technical support to a wide variety of customers, including service companies, coin store owners, route operators, distributors, special accounts, and sales on commercial laundry products.
It is the responsibility of the Technical Customer Service Representative to conduct field product training schools, provide on-site assistance, and assist factory schools when necessary as well as communicate with customers on all products, past and present, and how each are used in various market segments.
Position Requirements
- Knowledge/Experience:
- Two or four year technical degree in electrical or mechanical field preferred.
- Prior experience in a technical field necessary without Technical degree.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Pleasing telephone personality, good communication skills and excellent follow-up skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic.
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
