Regional Sales Manager - Huebsch

Alliance Laundry Systems, headquartered in Ripon, Wisconsin, 20 minutes west of Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our team.

The Regional Sales Manager manages and operates a regional sales territory for one of Alliance's brands by developing and implementing sales strategies that results in sales to end user consumers through previously and newly identified distribution channels.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Primary duties:
    • Responsible for achieving dollar and unit objectives established by National Sales Manager Huebsch for assigned sales territory.
    • Develops strong relationships with distributor personnel to establish a level of mutual respect and participation in strategic business practices between Alliance and the distributor.
    • Implements Company directed sales programs, promotions and strategies to achieve growth and profit plans while expending market penetration.
    • Conducts on-location sales training for products and marketing strategies for distributor sales management and sales force. Plans and implements result-oriented programming to assess the level of knowledge achieved by trainees during process.
    • Manages advertising and promotional programs to meet financial and market presence objectives of Company and the distributor.
    • Evaluates market performance, provides feedback to National Sales Manager Huebsch and distributor and implements strategies to improve sales performance.
    • Explores and reports on new business opportunities.
  • Secondary duties:
    • Keeps abreast of competitive activity in the assigned sales territory from the standpoint of products, promotional materials, sales techniques, pricing, warranty and marketing practices. Communicates pertinent information to manager on a timely basis.
    • Estimates and coordinates installation and service activity between distributors and national accounts within assigned sales territory.
    • Represents Company at trade shows and organizations.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge/Experience:
    • Knowledge of vended and on-premise laundry industry is highly desirable.
    • Mechanical aptitude with regard to machinery and equipment is also desirable.
    • Ability to understand all facets of coin Laundry and on-premise laundry products, corporate marketing, sales strategies, pre-sale and post sale support requirements as well as customer types, purchasing motives and allied products and applications.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to travel overnight 70% of the time.
    • Excellant communication and follow up skills; ability to provide appropiate information timely and concisely to management and distributors; ability to give effective presentations.
    • Ability to self-manage work load, deadlines and priorities effectively, take initiative and create opportunities.
    • Possess effective selling techniques and a strong business sense.
  3. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required with minimum 2 years experience in sales related function. Minimum 5 years experience required without Bachelor's degree.
  4. Physical Requirements:
    • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
