Marketing Analyst

Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC is located in Ripon, Wisconsin, 20 minutes west of Oshkosh and Fond du Lac. We are currently seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our team.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Controller, the Marketing Analyst will interact with all levels of the sales and marketing organization to develop and implement ideas as part of the marketing driven initiatives. The Marketing Analyst will leverage marketing strategy and technology techniques in support of the sales organization's quest for continued growth in profitability.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary duties:

  • Development of Marketing Database Initiatives:
    • Coin Store Database
    • Distributor Marketing Database
    • Market Share Database
    • Sales/Marketing Calendar
  • Development and Maintenance of Sales Administration systems
    • Price Sheet Inventory database
    • Promotion Tracking database
    • Sales and Marketing Data Warehouse maintenance
    • Mass Data (Pricing/Customer/Sales information) uploads and updates
  • Territory Management Data - Ad Hoc reports
    • Customer Territory data
      • Schedule B
      • Direct Mailers
      • Territory Mapping
  • Government Reporting (AHAM, TCATA)
  • Ad Hoc - Sales Data Requests (management/ALS customers)
  • CRM development
  • Projects as assigned

Secondary duties:

  • Business Intelligence (Cognos) - Backup to BI administrator
    • Daily/Monthly updates
    • Monthly report maintenance
  • Extranet Administration (Setups, Passwords)
  • Territory Management Administration
  • Ad Hoc requests

Position Requirements

  1. Knowledge/Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years database, system design, or project management experience required, preferably involving experience working in a sales or administration environment.
    • Strong working knowledge of database concepts with the ability to gather data from multiple data warehouses.
    • Must be able to understand system process and integration.
    • Ability to extract and interpret large amounts of data.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Access or SQL, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    • Ability to independently plan, prioritize and carry out simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.
    • Strong Analytic skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through verbal and written communication.
    • Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
  3. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, or Business Information Systems is required.
    • 3-5 years of progressive data mining experience.
    • Marketing or Administration experience is a plus.
  4. Physical Requirements:
    • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
