North American Sales Manager - Huebsch

Alliance Laundry Systems, LLC is the world's leading manufacturer and marketer of commercial laundry equipment. We have an excellent opportunity at our headquarters in Ripon, WI for a North American Sales Manager - Huebsch.

The North American Sales Manager manages and operates a sales territory for one of Alliance's brands by developing and implementing sales strategies that result in sales to end user consumers through previously and newly identified distribution channels.

Duties and responsibilties:

  • Responsible for achieving dollar and unit objectives established by Company for assigned sales territory.
  • Develops strong relationships with distributor personnel to establish a level of mutual respect and participation in strategic business practices between Alliance and the distributor.
  • Implements Company directed sales programs, promotions and strategies to achieve growth and profit plans while expanding market penetration.
  • Manages advertising and promotional programs to meet financial and market presence objectives of Company and the distributor.
  • Evaluates market performance, provides feedback to Company and implements strategies to improve sales performance.
  • Explores and reports on new business opportunities.
  • Manages sales force of four Regional Managers.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of vended and on-premise laundry industry is highly desirable.
  • Mechanical aptitude with regard to machinery and equipment is also desirable.
  • Ability to understand all facets of coin laundry and on-premise laundry products, corporate marketing, sales strategies, pre-sale and post sale support requirements as well as customer types, purchasing motives and allied products and applications.
  • Ability to travel overnight 50% of the time.
  • Excellent communication and follow up skills; ability to provide appropiate information timely and concisely to management and distributors; ability to give effective presentations.
  • Ability to self-manage work load, deadlines and priorities effectively, take initiative and create opportunities.
  • Possess effective selling techniques and a strong business sense.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field required with minimum 4 years experience in sales or sales related function. Minimum 5 years experience required without Bachelor's degree.
