Commercial Financial Analyst

We have an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Financial Analyst to join our team.

Purpose

This position provides financial and credit analysis on loan applications for the purchase of commercial laundry equipment for the use in coin, multi-housing and on-premise Laundromats in an assigned region of the country.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Follow prescribed guidelines, receive and review loan applications and associated documentation to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.
  • Analyze credit reports and associated documentation and set terms according to company guidelines.
  • Maintain acceptable response times for applications submitted for pre-qualification or credit decision.
  • Prepares loan documentation for customers.
  • Prepares loan closing and funding, per company guidelines.
  • Provides reporting on an as needed basis for the Credit Supervisor.
  • Builds strong business relationships with distributor finance personnel and sales people through training and educating on finance program and opportunities.
  • Maintains the security and confidentiality of client credit information and upholds the integrity of Alliance finance programs.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge/Experience:
    • Minimum 1-3 years experience within a financial institution or a corporate financial services department.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    • Credit skill, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate a decision clearly across all lines of business.
    • Working knowledge of PC-based database software.
    • Ability to independently plan, prioritize and carry out simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of Spanish, Korean, or other foreign language a plus.
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of time.
  3. Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  4. Physical Requirements:
    • Position involves sitting long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending and minimal lifting.
