We have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Financial Analyst.

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Controller, the Marketing Financial Analyst will be responsible for month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and forecasts; annual budgets; and ad hoc financial analysis and projects as needed within the Sales & Marketing organization. The Marketing Financial Analyst will leverage technology and financial analysis techniques in support of the sales organization's quest for continued growth in profitability.

Responsibilities:

• Month-end closing process which includes sales promotion accruals.
• Monthly and YTD Channel Contribution Margin Statements.
• Monthly and YTD Gross Sales/Margin Volume Mix Analysis.
• General ledger account reconciliation for sales accruals.
• Calculate Co-op Advertising & Volume Rebate Balances.
• Responsible for Sales & Allowance forecast system.
• Process OEM FG inventory payments and reconcile OEM FG in-transit inventory.
• Variance analysis investigation for sales promotion expense and gross margin.
• Promotion Allowance tracking and reporting.

Qualifications:

1. Knowledge/Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience required, preferably involving experience working in a financial, sales or administration environment.
• Experience in public accounting or with a manufacturing company is preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Access with the ability to gather data from multiple data warehouses.
• Must be fluent in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
2. Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to independently plan, prioritize and carry out simultaneous projects and meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization through verbal and written communication.
• Able to work independently and be a self-starter.
3. Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA or other certification desired.
