Purpose

• Ensures that employees are properly trained in the areas of equipment operations, quality policy, safety, housekeeping, and interpersonal skills to perform their duties.

Position Responsibilities:

Primary duties:

• Coordinate day to day activities to maintain scheduled production schedule
• Continuously improve processes
• Ensure safety of employees
• Maintain quality standards

Secondary duties:

• Interface with technical and support staff to accomplish organizational goals
• Establish and incorporate plans to meet annual goals
• Reduce inventories

Position Qualifications:

1. Knowledge/Experience:
• Five to Seven years manufacturing experience in fabrication environment
• Metal fabrication and Welding background desired
2. Skills and Abilities:
• Extensive fabrication knowledge and understanding of process control and production scheduling techniques
• Lean manufacturing hands on implementation
• Blueprint reading
3. Education:
• Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Prefer Bachelors Degree in Engineering
